It always breaks our heart when animals are abandoned by their owners. In some cases, they are left out in the cold, with nobody to look after them.
This was also the case with this adorable little black-and-white puppy, who had been left out in the chilling weather.
The Paw Squadron team received a call that told them about him, and they rushed to the spot where they found this little critter by a garbage dump.

They took him in their arms and drove him to a nearby park where they gave him food and water. He was so hungry that he lapped it all up and even asked for a second helping.
After that, it was time for a little exploration. The puppy, with his stomach full, happily scampered here and there, even taking a poop stop.
After playtime was over, the rescuers drove him to the vet, where he was joined by another adorable little puppy from the same shelter, named Ebony.
New Friends and Vet Visit
While Ebony got an eye checkup, [the vet reported that his eyesight had improved compared to the previous visit. Yay!], our new friend received an overall health check and the vet said that everything was fine.

So far, all was good, but things were only to get better and more exciting from here.
Meanwhile, Ebony and Mr. Newcomer had become the best of friends, spending the whole time running around behind each other while on the vet grounds.
Finally, it was time to go home. Once there, our little puppy received a shower, which he agreed to, albeit reluctantly.

But one could tell that he felt pretty happy and refreshed after that.
A Welcoming Home
And now it was time for the final surprise. Ebony and the new pup were spending their time flocking around when the shelter staff introduced a new friend to the twosome. It was a hamster named Mr. Nibbles.
The plump little hamster was a bit shy at first, but the two pulled him into their group and soon he was at home with his two older ‘brothers’.

They now spend most of their time together, playing, jumping around, or simply cuddling. It’s a welcome sight for the most sore of eyes.
They are so inseparable that the staff now serves them food together. The new puppy hasn’t been named yet, and Paw Squadron is asking for suggestions from the viewers of their YouTube channel.
Hope he gets a name and a permanent home soon!
We love the three little fur babies and wish them the best in everything.
